"I will not be going back to Sport Clips on Sheridan. As a long-time customer of 6+ years, I used to love coming here. The service was usually top-notch. It changed when I went in one day to get my free neck trim, which they proudly tout as a value-added service. On that visit, I was ridiculed and embarrassed by one of the stylists who surprisingly said, "Oh, you're that guy who gets the weird haircut, aren't you?" Then, the new manager ambushed me and said that they would give me a free neck trim that time, but would no longer be able to give me free neck trims again. I was taken aback by this! I am usually willing to upgrade to the MVP package for their increased revenue. I will tell you that they have a high turnover of store managers who leave for one reason or another. The most recent one seems to value the bottom line dollar and pleasing her own management more than cultivating a great customer experience. Thus, I won't be going back."

"Keep in mind you can only rate from 1-5 stars, not below one, so one is actually 0. No one here will acknowledge that you exist when you walk in or within 5 mins of you standing in front of their desk, but it will take the lady sweeping around her chair 3 mins to actually finish sweeping a 5x5 area and when you ask her how long until you can be seen because you checked in an hour ago and were told to come back in an hour she will seem like you're making her life far more difficult that it should be. Sorry for the inconvenience lady, just wanting to get my haircut at any point in the last hour after following your instructions. Terrible place, nothing pleasant and no redeaming qualities. The employees seem to hate their lives and thus their "customers". If I wanted to deliberately make myself as miserable as this place tries to make you I would've just gone and hung out at the DMV."

"This place used to be awesome. However there turnover is ridiculous. The customer service has also gone down the drain. All the people saying that they have changed to be more like great clips are right. I’ve been coming to these locations for over a year now (I get a haircut every three weeks). Today was the last straw. I waited 40 minutes at the north peoria location with my status as "On Deck". Not a peep letting me know why the long wait. I get that you are understaffed and stressed. I work for customer service myself and I would never let a customer sit for 40 minutes with out even a hello. Horrible, horrible. Great place for children or guys that want simple cuts. If you care about your time or your hair. Stay away, seriously."
